What can I say. . . 2017 was a very interesting year for the Savvy team. This was the year of ebb and flow. Highs and lows. Twists and turns. Ultimately, this was a year of profound growth and development for me both personally and professionally. It’s always exciting to take a walk down memory lane to reflect on our successes. Even with the many challenges 2017 brought, we rocked the heck out of this year producing events from New York City to Los Angeles. We worked with and built relationships with new brands, revamped our website, and completely shifted our focus from weddings to primarily producing social and corporate events, and working with incredible lifestyle and beauty brands. This blog will be a sampling of some of our fave events from 2017. We really can’t thank all of our client’s enough (whether or not your event is featured below) we are blessed to work with so many incredible people.
Our year started in New York City where we produced two events for Makeup Geek Cosmetics. We loved partnering with Makeup Geek on the beauty brands first Pop-Up Shop at the Metropolitan Pavilion. We hosted over 700 Makeup Geeks and the company sold out of just about every product!

While in NYC, Makeup Geek hosted an intimate influencer brunch for some of their loyal supporters at Amali Restaurant. We loved infusing pops of color into this fun brunch.

We partnered with Bryiana Dyrdek the President of Iconic Beauty, a motivational empowerment organization to produce their 2-day conference for over 100 attendees. Women traveled from across the US to meet in Hollywood, CA and be inspired and encouraged to reach new heights.
Day 1 was filled with educational content but we made sure to glam the space with pops of fuchsia and purple, the brands signature color palette.

Day 2 consisted of a charity fashion show in partnership with the Make A Wish Foundation – Greater Los Angeles. A young lady by the name of Kennedy had her wish of being a model granted. It was such a phenomenal experience.

The 2-day event ended up an incredible rooftop after party.

This year we built a partnership with the PHAMExpo, an educational beauty and hair expo. We produced their super fun expo after party. We’re excited to share all of the fun things we’re doing with PHAME in 2018! Stay tuned.

We collaborated with Makeup Geek for the 3rd time this year (our 8th event with the brand!) for the launch of their “In the Nude” collection at Pop Champagne & Dessert Bar in Pasadena, CA.

We produced a hand full of weddings this year and had an amazing time with our couples! Our first wedding took place at the Marina del Rey Marriott for our sweet client’s Chantal and Stephen.

Our final wedding of the year was filled with so much love, family, and fun for our client’s Candace and Franz at Veranda’s Beach House in Manhattan Beach, CA.

We had the great pleasure of producing my mom’s retirement party this summer at a private residence. It was such a special treat to be able to do what I love for my mom.

One of our last events of the year was a fun influencer cocktail party for our client, The Crème Shop. The event took place at the Ace Hotel in DTLA. We always love producing influencer events because they are always over the top and allow us to be as creative as we want.

This is a fun sampling of the events we produced this year. We had the pleasure of adding consulting to our list of services. We have consulted with new and established event venues to curate an effective marketing strategy for their venue. We also consult with companies needing assistance with site selection and remote event production services for those who do not need on-site assistance at their event.
I feel incredibly blessed to be able to wake up and do what I love every single day. 2017 had its challenges but y’all. . .2018 is about to be over the top and ridiculously EPIC. We’re already so excited about the client’s we get to serve next year. If you find yourself in need of a Los Angeles event producer (or a destination event producer) you should definitely get in touch!
Cheer to an incredibly successful and INTENTIONAL 2018!

Wow what a great year you had! I have to agree that 2017 was all about ebbs and flows. It sometimes felt like I was on top of the world and next thing you knew things felt like they were falling apart. However, it was an amazing year for learning and zoning in on exactly where I want my business to go and who I want as clients. Cheers to 2018!
