Country Western 50th Birthday

Happy Wednesday, friends!

I hope your hump day is going exceptionally well! I’m popping in today to share images from a fabulous 50th birthay celebration the Savvy team designed and planned in Los Angeles. When I was contacted by Ron a couple of months ago, his goal was to wow his partner of 25 years with an incredible country line dance inspired 50th birthday celebration. His partner, Etienne is known for throwing incredible parties and Ron wanted to surprise him with a party theme that encompasses one of Etienne’s favorite past times, country line dancing! Ron really wanted to host the party at their home in the hills of Los Angeles but was concerned that the size of the backyard wouldn’t be large enough to accommodate a live band + country line dancing due to a large pool. Well, that “problem” was solved when we covered the pool in plexiglass to serve as the dance floor for the party. All of the guests loved the fact that they were line dancing with 9 feet of water beneath them (it was really cool and totally safe – it took the the pool cover team a whopping 14 hours to install).
