W Hollywood Birthday Bash
It’s not every day we get a call to plan and design an “Angels in the Casino” themed 50th birthday party. Working with Shelby as she orchestrated her bosses 50th birthday party was so much fun. I love an out of the box theme and jumped at the opportunity to design a party that was all about gambling, angel wings, an epic R2D2 cake, and a whole lot of fun. The event took place at one of our favorite properties, the W Hotel in Hollywood. Take a peek at the images captured by our friend, Elizabeth of Elizabeth Burgi Photography.
These oversized feather arrangements were absolutely perfect for the all-white aesthetic we were going for with the design of the venue.
Our client wanted all white dècor for a more ethereal feel.
Can we talk about the level of detail in this cake?!?! It was a stunner and guests couldn’t believe that it was actually a cake. I love how the angel wings were incorporated into the design to keep the theme cohesive throughout the entire event.
Guests were greeted with angel wings as they arrived at the party.
Beer pong, because you can’t have an epic casino theme without it.
The grilled cheese station is always a big hit.

Wow, those angel wings are such a cool idea! Love how you ties them into the giant feather centerpieces. Such a fun event!
How fun! I once tried to do a similar centerpiece but couldn’t get ahold of those peacock feathers (at least in the budge I was given). They can get pricey! But your party turned out SO good. Love all the details!
